Unsearchable Riches

David's travels

To fully know God is impossible but that’s the beauty of it. Let me show you what I mean by that. The bible says, “For who has understood the mind of The Lord” if you think about it there are millions of Christians living today and millions more that have lived on this earth that have sought out Christ and wrote many books and preached many sermons and gave countless lectures about the riches found in Christ and not one them reached the end of His riches. Let that soak in for a bit. All those people combined and their vast knowledge of Christ and the bible and of spiritual things and still that falls short of knowing God completely. In Ephesians chapter 3 Paul says, “to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ” there is never an end to the satisfaction of the riches found in Christ. No matter how long you have been a Christian or how hard you have perused God there is always more to know about Him more to experience in Him more to grow into Christ likeness. The more we seek Him the more we find Him, the more we find Him the more we want Him, the more we want Him the more we realize we need Him, and the more we realize we are in need of Him that is when He is made all the more powerful in His manifestation in us. He is made strong in our weakness. In our endless pursuit of God, I can assuredly say we will never be able to get enough of Him and his goodness. In psalms, we read “a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere” there in nothing that compares to being in the vary presence of God. The craziest thing though is before we loved Him He loved us first. Before we ever repented before we ever believed in Him before we ever turned our lives over to Him before we ever pursued Him with all our hearts and long before we were ever born even before the foundations of the world HE HAS LOVED US. He has loved us with an everlasting love as it says in Jeramiah He called us to be sons and daughters of the God most High how amazing is that? Our pursuit never started with us but with Him. Before we thought of Him, He thought of us. God thought of us? I mean who am I or who are you that the creator of the universe even thought of you and me? It’s amazing that we have a heavenly father who so deeply cares for us. Created us in the image and likeness of Himself and even though sin got in the way and made a gap between us and God, He made a way for us through Jesus Christ to enter back into a beautiful relationship with Him. Through his death and resurrection by tearing the vail in half from top to bottom and giving us access into the Holy of Holy’s into the very presences of God. He did that all for us, so that we may have life in Him and have it abundantly. So, question arises how far you willing to pursue God? To search out the endless depth of Him who is all and is in all?... “The cross before me the world behind me. No turning back, no turning back”
